The challenge
The launch date was fixed and the product was still in final packaging. A conventional shoot needed a studio, a set build, a model, a crew and two weeks of scheduling before a single frame existed — and the campaign needed to be in market before that.
The idea
Treat the product as a material study. Glass, liquid and skin under one continuous light, moving slowly enough that the viewer reads texture before they read branding. The film opens on a surface, not a logo.
The production.
- 01
Reference & direction
We built a reference set from photographed beauty campaigns rather than from AI imagery, so lighting behaviour, lens choice and grade had a real-world target.
- 02
Product accuracy pass
Packaging, cap geometry, label typography and material finish were locked against supplied product references before any motion work started.
- 03
Frame generation
Key frames were produced at campaign resolution, art-directed one at a time and rejected freely. Composition was decided by eye, not by prompt volume.
- 04
Motion & camera
Camera moves were kept inside believable physical limits — slow push, shallow rack, no impossible orbits — so the film reads as photographed.
- 05
Grade, sound & finish
Colour continuity across every cut, a sound design pass, and a final realism review at 100% zoom before delivery.
The film had to survive a 100% zoom. That single rule decided the whole workflow.
